Statement2Tally

About

Built for the week before the deadline

Before GST, ITR and audit deadlines, someone in every CA firm retypes bank transactions into Tally, line by line, from a PDF. It's slow, and one misread amount can take an afternoon to find. Statement2Tally turns the PDF into Tally vouchers and shows you exactly which rows don't add up.

Four principles

  • 01

    Privacy

Converted on your PC, never uploaded. Works offline once the page has loaded.

  • 02

    Visible correctness

Every row is balance-checked. Problems are shown, not hidden or guessed away.

  • 03

    Tally first

Payment, Receipt and Contra vouchers with ledger masters, not just a spreadsheet.

  • 04

    Speed

No page limit. A 100-page statement converts in about 2 seconds on an office PC.

Who builds it

Haynes

Haynes is a full-stack developer and product builder based in Kerala, India. With experience across fintech, insurance tech, and B2C platforms, Haynes has shipped production applications including CRM systems, e-commerce storefronts, and complex integrations.

Haynes built Statement2Tally to solve a real pain point: the repetitive, error-prone work of converting bank statements into Tally for CA firms. Having worked on multiple SaaS products and understood the importance of local-first solutions, Haynes designed the converter around three principles: privacy (browser-only processing), accuracy (balance-check validation), and Kerala bank focus (where most competitors don't look).
